President

Paul Festa has been a member of the IFS since 2005 and is currently serving as President of the society since 2023.  Paul previously served as the clubs Secretary from 2019-2022.  Throughout the years Paul has always stepped up to help support the club in any way possible; from running multiple bocce leagues, to tournaments on the courts, to fundraising functions in the community and even as simple as general maintenance for our facility and courts.  His efforts are always appreciated and should not go unnoticed.   

 

In his new role as President Paul hopes to make a positive, long-lasting impact with his new ideas and fresh perspective.  One of his generational ideas is to create a Junior IFS Membership program.  This program would encapsulate all the of the qualifying tie ins with Honor Society and Junior Honor Society members for all of those eligible students in surrounding community schools.  The program would offer young individuals the chance to achieve community service hours through the Italian Fraternal Society.  Hoping to get this program up and running in a years’ time.

Paul is a fourth-generation member of the society with linkage dating all the way back to 1932 when his Great grandfather Sylvester “Papa” Festawas a member.  Old photos are seen of him and all his buddies hanging out at the club all through the early 1900’s.  Here is Paul with his beautiful daughter, Kaylee.
